As Social Media is getting more and more powerful where the conventional approach of “word by mouth” has changed to “word by social media” is bringing results to BIG BRANDS like Dell. So how will small business take the advantage of social media to grab the market and will it really bring the results?

I did some study and found that this is how the cycle works. In social media we talk about the total inventory of fans we have on different social media account, let say we have 500 on facebook, 300 on twitter, 100 on myspace, now these potential customers are ready to buy your product and services when you put some offer on the social media to your account. Considering 1% as minimum conversion can make a big difference. If the total inventory of social customer is say 30,000 with 1% conversion means, every month you can float an offer which 300 will opt for it, isnt that great? Ofcourse it is.

Now the question comes to one mind is that how can I take the advance and increase the number of inventory of social customers, there are many ways:firstly promote within the social media, secondly put your social media link to all possible places you may, thirdly setup a domain like twit-laptopoffer.com and you can collect huge numbers of twitter fans and so on.

Once you have enough inventory of potential customer with good percentage of conversion, think yourself you have meet your goal.

Social Media Marketing is must and shouldnt be left.
